How does ordering a choice gift through Cadeo work?
Ordering a choice gift of €30.00 is done in three steps. No complicated procedures, no minimum order quantity.
1. Create your campaign
Choose the Merry Little Edit collection (€30.00), upload your recipient list, and personalize the gift page with your logo, colors, and a personal message. This will take you about 15 minutes.
2. Send the gift links
Each recipient receives a personal link by email. They open their own gift page and browse through the selection. Physical gifts are delivered to their home, and digital gift cards are activated immediately.
3. Track the redemption live
In your Cadeo dashboard, you can see in real-time who has already made a choice and what the redemption rate is. At Cadeo, this stands at 95%: almost everyone makes a choice.
Optional: add a physical gift
Want to make it extra personal? Combine the digital choice gift with a physical gift: a (handwritten) card or a small gift with a personal message and QR code in your company's corporate identity. Gift of choice of €30.00 and the Work-related Expenses Scheme (WKR) 2026
A gift of choice via Cadeo is tax-wise identical to a traditional Christmas hamper. It falls under the discretionary scope of the Work-related Expenses Scheme, just like gift cards and physical gifts.
WKR discretionary scope 2026
In 2026, the discretionary scope is 2% on the first €400,000 of the fiscal wage sum, and 1.18% on the amount above that. A gift of choice of €30.00 per employee fits well within that for most companies.
Calculation example
A company with 50 employees and a wage sum of €2,500,000 has a discretionary scope of €400,000 x 2% + €2,100,000 x 1.18% = €8,000 + €24,780 = €32,780. A Merry Little Edit collection for all 50 employees costs €1,500, which is 4.6% of the available discretionary scope.
